This Privacy Policy describes how Copybang (“we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and related services (collectively, the “Site” or “Services”). By using the Site, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
Personal identification information
We may collect personal identification information from users in a variety of ways, including when users visit our site, register on the site, or engage with activities, services, features, or resources we make available. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name and email address. Users may, however, visit parts of our Site in a limited or anonymous manner where registration is not required. If you create a Copybang account (including for a free trial), we process the email address and credentials you provide at registration, as necessary to perform our agreement with you (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, where EU law applies).
You may also be able to create or link an account using Google, Apple, Facebook, or similar providers. If you choose this option, you authorize us to request and use certain personal data from that third-party account as permitted by the provider—for example, name, email address, and public profile information such as a profile picture, depending on the provider and your settings. The initial collection and sharing of that data is governed by the third party’s privacy policy. You can review or revoke connections in your account settings with that provider.
Security and login information
For security, we may process the time, browser, IP address of your last login, and the time of your last password reset where applicable. We have a legitimate interest in processing this information to help detect suspicious login activity and prevent abuse of your credentials (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, where EU law applies).
Account deletion
If you need to delete information associated with your account, please contact us using your registered email address and request account deletion at support@copybang.com with the subject line or clear instruction “delete account.” We will process requests in line with applicable law.
